The following wands fit most all central vacuum systems and are interchangeable. If a button lock is needed at the top or bottom it is recommended that the main wand used has those locking features. However, wands without the upper button lock can be used where up locks are present. The wand simply slides over the button lock.

The following wands fit various electric power brushes. Be sure the top connection is exactly what is needed as there are different ways the two pins connects into an electric hose handle. Systems with an electric brush can also use the non-electric wands with the hose for vacuuming without the electric brush.

Telescopic Cord Channel Wand
Fits electric carpet brushes that have a button-lock hole at the top and a nipple at the bottom. It fits the original Stealth that had a 40-inch cord. Wand adjusts for ergonomically correct vacuuming and has a plastic cord channel on top of it that receives any size electric cord with two beveled edges. It also has a button lock on the bottom and button lock hole on the top.

Stealth Integrated Telescopic Wand
Stealth Integrated Telescopic Wand for Stealth power brushes with short power cord. To convert any Stealth to this wand, purchase and install a short cord #49054S. Short cord replaces the long cord.

Cord Channel Upper Wand
Includes button lock hole on top and button lock nipple on the bottom. A cord channel holds the electric power brush cord in place for connection to an electric vacuum hose. Fits into the lower wand (part 406SL). Size: 19 inches long, 1.25 inch inner diameter. Center of button lock and hole are 1 3/8 inch from ends (it is okay if there is a difference with what it mates to). When the cord is inserted in the top plastic channel cord holder, the distance between the top of the cord pins to the top of the metal wand is one inch (the perfect fit for all electric hoses in the shopping cart). Measurement; 18 1/2-inch. Plastic Channel measures 1 1/8-inch

Telescopic Ratchet Wand - Friction Lock Top and Bottom
The Telescope Ratchet Wand is a great addition to any air-driven non-electric power brush or accessory. It is friction locking, and has no button locks. Measurement: 25" collapsed and 38-1/2" fully extended. Telescopes in 3/4" intervals so it can be stopped at any height most comfortable for using.

The 18 3/4-inch Central Vacuum Chrome Extension Tube Wand is sold individually. To obtain the correct vacuuming height, it is recommended to buy two. It's friction locking without button locks, but works fine on button lock hoses. With a diameter of 1.25 inches, this tube wand fits 99% of all central vacuum accessories, attachments and hoses.

Lower Wand: Hayden, Ace, PowerMate to MD Electric Hose
Connect certain vacuum nozzles to the crush proof electric hose (instead of the Hayden or PowerMate hose). Must use part# 406SU as well for a perfect, seamless fit. Replace Ace #48516. Compatible with: CT20DXQD, CT20DXQS, CT18DXQD, CT18DXQS, CT16DX, CT14DX, CT14L, CT12DXL, CT210, CT110, CPB100. (Also fits Kenmore PowerMate and some AirVac VM 454.)
Measurement: Wand is 17.25 inches long, and the cord is 29.5 inches long. The total length of the wand plus cord is 35 inches long.

6-inch Adapter cord to lengthen power brush cord
This 6-inch adapter cord allows any electric power brush cord to fit into the plastic channel of the Cord Channel Upper Wand part 406SU or Telescopic Wand part 406ST. The upper wand will then be ready for any of the Electric Hoses to fit directly into it - conveniently connecting both the electrical prongs from the powered carpet brush and the wands to the hose handle. This cord fits 3-prong cords because the third prong is no longer required.
