Sealed Bag Pipe Adapter
The narrower end slides INTO an 1-7/8 inch interior diameter tube and snaps out of the tube 1-1/16 inch away. The other, wider end fits into any closed bag with cardboard rim such as the #723MF-5 Microfilter Bag.
Gasket Instructions: The gasket is going to be sandwiched between the plastic adapter collar and the inside metal wall of the unit. Slide the gasket over the narrow end before inserting the adapter.

Pipe Adapter for Microfilter Conversion
The narrow end snaps INTO an 1-7/8 inch interior diameter tube. The snaps are 1-1/16 inch from the raised stop. That means if the tube is longer then 1-1/16 inch it will not seat correctly and cause a clog. The wider end fits into any closed bag with card board rim such as the #723MF-5 micro-filter bag.

*Activac FITS ALL BRANDS AND MODELS such as Beam, Nutone, Vacuflo, Vacumaid, SilentMaster, AirVac, etc. ActiVac DOES NOT FIT "MD" with louvers around the front and back base, MD Model J requires a spigot sweep 90, Models SV and Flo-Master M92 have two exhausts requiring a spigot and regular sweep 90 and possibly other fits to allow the filters to sit upright. ActiVac does not fit AirVac all plastic models. Large homes with 30 amp units and two exhaust ports (such as SilentMaster Model S5) require two ActiVacs and more adapters. ActiVac will not work with units exhausted outdoors.

Centra Exhaust Filter Bag for Central Vacuum
Attaches to central vacuums and filters the dust out of the exhaust, but is NOT TO BE USED with bagless systems, only with bag or filtered systems. There is too much dust coming out of cyclonic systems and it will clog the filter and damage the motor. The Centra Exhaust Filter attaches to a central vacuum fitting such as a coupling or 90-degree elbow (something with 2 3/16 inch outer diameter). Overall dimensions are 11.5" long, 4.5" wide, and 4.5" tall and tapers all the way down. Change the Centra Exhaust Filter about every third emptying of the cycle, or when it gets darkly discolored. Rubber Gasket for Top Open Filter Bag
Can be used in all MD's "open" bag type units. The "o-ring" gasket, introduced years ago, is not necessary but does help direct the dirt into the paper bag. The rubber gasket seals around the paper bag's top edge.
