This is awesome!
Would have given 4.5 stars if I could have. Glad I went with 35' over the 30'. Power head and tools are good. On/off switch at the business end of the hose is handy. Only thing I'll dock points for is the light-weight hose compared with my original Fasco hose which was much heavier duty and lasted over 20 years.
Enjoying it so far..:)
We love it!
Customer Service was great, I needed an adapter after I received my new hose, contacted MD and they shipped one to me at no charge. The hose is much lighter than my old one, much easier to vacuum. Love my new power head.
Excellent product so far and quick delivery
I am very happy with the new product. My only regret is that I bought the 30' hose instead of the 35'. I can vacuum the whole house in one day, rather than wrestle with the old one for 2 days. This one glides over the carpet almost by itself. I wish I had done this years ago.
The quality of this product is not what I expected. Maybe I should have spent more for the deluxe model. In order to use the non-powerhead attachments, I have to unfasten the power head electric cord from the retainers on the rigid chrome extensions each time. That is unsatisfactory. I'll use this kit in the basement. Thanks, Terry
(MD Notes: We sent this customer a secondary wand at no charge)
Very good value
Quite pleased overall. However, the power head is quite noisy - have to wear ear plugs
It picks up debris very well and runs quietly compared to the other beam we had. As for the tool to use on chairs, works fine, however, it keeps slipping off the tube because it has no way to fasten to the tube. We did not receive any operating instructions or name of parts in case we have to order a part. Otherwise, we are satisfied with the BlackHawk and is accomplishing what we expect of it. Thank you.
We love the attachments. They work wonderfully. Very easy to carry and use.
Not very happy with this. When I got this it looked used it don't pickup very well and it hard for my grandma to use this I would never buy this again (MD NOTES: Sorry for the issues. All products are brand new and never used. You can return the goods for a full refund within 30 days.)
Everything came on time and in good order. It works great. Thank you. The wall attachments for the hose is too narrow. It does not fit the hose properly.
I like the blackhawk, but the handle turns to the left, i wish you guys made it so it does not rotate to the left. i grew up in bakersfield, and i was happy to know that my vac came from bako!!! have a good one.
As others have said, it's quite loud. The hose is fairly thin-walled, not as heavy-duty as the original Eureka hose so it tends to kink fairly easily. An extension (wand) should come with the package rather than being a separate, add-on accessory. Lastly, I wish the deck height were adjustable. It's perfect for low carpets, but forget thick or deep carpets as it completely stops the brush from rotating. Overall, my wife and I like it. It does a pretty good job for the price.
I received the kit and I am disapointed in the way it picks up dirt and depree. My other one was so much better! The packaging was also very unusual. I opened the box and everything was just thrown in there. It looked like it had been returned with no packaging.
I give this product a relatively high score for cleaning effectiveness, but a low score for ease of use and for some quirky experiences we are having with it.
First of all, the part of the system that activates the vacuum itself has been intermittent. Finally figured out that by rotating the hose around in the outlet eventually makes the necessary contact to operate the vacuum. This has never been an issue with two previous hoses and Turbo Cat kits.
Similarly, the electric part to operate the electric brush is intermittent. Seems that every time we have used it, we have to keep trying the switch through its various positions several times until it finally comes on. We've only used it about three times and we still haven't been able to understand why this is so. It just seems random and trial and error every time before the brush starts operating
Finally, taking the hose and the wand apart is not easy. I finally figured out that I have to hold the brush and wand down with my foot while pulling hard on the handle on the hose for it to come apart. Unfortunately, My wife is neither tall enough nor strong enough to take it apart. I assume this will eventually be easier, but then I wonder if it loosens for that reason, will it also loosen enough to be wobbly. Remains to be seen.
