Cogged Belt with Overload Protection
The Hayden non-slip cog belt maintains peak performance by rotating constantly at the RPM speed of the motor. The cogged belt connects to the motor's drive staying in lock step with the rotations. There is no slip, and there is no diminishing power. This characteristic outstrips those of flat belt drive systems that need regular replacement due to stretching. To help prevent cogged belt breakage when the vacuum gets jammed, the Hayden is equipped with an overload protection feature which shuts the vacuum motor down. Replacement belts are available, and we suggest buying one or two to have on hand when needed. We also suggest comparing this same feature in the Stealth vacuum as it has a higher degree of belt protection.

Four-Position Height Adjustment
Hayden's four-position height adjustment provides optimum settings for most all carpet piles. Combined with the powerful motor and aggressive roller brush, the Hayden vacuum will clean deep and perk up any carpet.

Easy-Release Lower Wand Detachment
Hayden's easy-release feature instantly detaches the power nozzle from the wand assembly to allow a quick change up in order to use the other cleaning attachments included in the kit. It is also handy when you want to use the wand along baseboards or hard to reach places. Simply release the wand, use as needed, and connect it back in place.

Double Row Bristle Design
The Hayden Super-Pack power head vacuum cleaner combines active edge cleaning with performance that is enhanced by a soft brushroll. Dual brush rolls provide proper carpet aggitation and the strong motor keeps the roller moving quickly on all kinds of carpet.

New SuperHose III
Hayden has recently updated all Hayden Kits to include a hose that is more pliable, like other hoses, yet just as durable. Instead of stiff wire that bends, the new hose retains its round shape even when stepped on. Hayden knows that a consistent hose shape is crucial for suction performance. SuperHose III is a direct replacement for earlier SuperHose models and is interchangeable with many Kenmore/Sears Central Vacuum Systems.

Swivels More - Kinks Less
Detangling hose kinks is an annoyance in basic vacuum systems, but Hayden's 360 degree swivel actually prevents kinking. As the hose extends during use, the customary coils that would otherwise cause the hose to kink instead spin free at the handle's swivel. The user can get right to vacuuming rather than having to fuss with a knotted hose.

Fits All Central Vacuums Ever Made
The Hayden SuperHose comes in either standard Pigtail Connect or Direct Connect. Inlet wall valves all have a wire going to them that controls the suction. Some have four wires that include 110-volts. The 110-volt inlets have two small holes just above or below the main suction hole. These take the direct connect hose end. If there are not two holes it will need the pigtail version, which has an 8-foot cord that easily plugs into a nearby electrical socket.

Hard Floor Brush
The very low profile 12-inch floor brush can reach in, under, and around all your furniture and close to all the baseboards. The side-to-side swivel provides helpful angles as the stiff bristles glide along the floor. The front and back bristles are castle cut to allow debris to enter the air stream when the brush is pushed forward or drawn back.

Hayden's distinctive Crevice Tool is designed to meet your unique cleaning requirements. Not only will it slip into narrow areas and along dirty edges, its flared end is designed to "scrub" areas that need more focused cleaning attention.

Sturdy Metal Wand
Made out of metal, heavy-duty plastic, and durable screws, the Hayden wand is extremely durable. Easily slide the end of the wand in and out of the Hayden brush using the Quick Release feature. Then attach other accessories such as the Hard Floor Brush and continue to clean. On the upper end of the wand, the hose handle attaches easily with a button lock and release feature. The wand is composed of a top and bottom section that connects at the middle.

Starting with the hose handle, make four or five loops on the floor, scoop the hose up, and place the neatly coiled in the Hose Hanger. The sturdy hose hanger will not break and takes up very little storage space.

Clip-on Tool Caddy
The Clip-on Tool Caddy is an ingenious tool caddy, which simply clips to the wand and holds three attachments in place at your finger tips. Slide a tool off and attach it to the hose handle or at the end of the metal wands to vacuum more areas with ease.
