Possibly the Most Convenient Vacuum System Ever
  1. Eliminate hose & cord complaints!
  2. Use only as much hose as needed.
  3. Less vacuum inlets for quicker cleaning.
  4. Installs in existing homes & retrofits into vac systems.
  5. Suction retracts hose, no mechanism failures.
The major complaint of vacuuming is the cord, and for central vacuuming it is the hose. But when homeowners try using the Hide-A-Hose, it quickly becomes a "must-have" appliance. They simply "get it". No cord to wrap up, no hose to put away, no excuse for just getting the job done now because it is so easy. Simply open the inlet door, easily pull out any amount of hose, and then vacuum away. When finished, the suction alone retracts the hose into the vacuum pipes so there are no moving parts that wear down or need to be replaced in the wall or system. Hide-A-Hose is available in 30, 40, 50, and 60-foot lengths. One 50' Hide-A-Hose covers nearly 2,300 sq. ft. so there are less inlets needed than with the traditional central vacuum installation which uses a 30-foot hose.

New homes, as well as existing homes with or without a central vac already installed, can have the Hide-A-Hose system. Installation uses the standard vacuum pipe and longer sweep elbows and easily installs into 2x4 walls. Hide-A-Hose utilizes robust RF controls and air-powered tools for daily cleaning. Homes with wall to wall carpet can utilize traditional inlets with electrical hose and beater brush, as well as Hide-A-Hose for hard surface areas, all in the same system.

Existing Home Installation

Homes with Central Vac
Typically, 50-foot HAH valves are installed in areas near all rooms with hard floors. A new HAH valves consists of a wall inlet and pipe run to the basement or attic where is it tied into any existing pipe run. The power of the existing suction tank is usually plenty to pull the hose back into the pipe run.

Homes without a Central Vac
All new construction homes can be roughed-in with HAH. Unfortunately, changing existing central vacuum valves to HAH is not possible, because the existing pipe network has elbow connections that are too short. HAH connections are longer sweeping ones that minimize friction and allow the hose to move easily as it retracts.

WallyFlex is an essential, practical, and safe central vacuum tool that can be found in the laundry room, bathroom, kitchen, garage, or workshop. It's an innovative auxiliary hose for central vacuums that is always there when you need.

WallyFlex's design makes cleaning extremely easy and installation simple. The hose stretches to 14 feet and standard attachments fit directly on WallyFlex.

Installs on standard central vacuum backing plates.

Existing Home Installation

Installing Wally Flex is like adding an additional inlet valve to your wall. The same pipe, fittings, low voltage wire, and backing plate are used to create the new valve. Wally Flex comes with everything you need to install it on a simple standard backing plate like our part #517. Put the valve at or around light switch height so Wally Flex is easy to use.

Run pipe from the backing plate and adjoin to any pipe in the existing system using a three way connection. Splice the low voltage wire from Wally Flex into the existing low voltage wire that runs along the pipe. Many times there is a preexisting splice near other three way junctions that you can tie into.
