YOUR FILTEX MODEL

Filtex began manufacturing central vacuums in the early 1960's in Los Angeles. The company was sold a few times and acquired other surnames such as VSI and Natter. The company was sold in the late 1980's to Music and Sound (aka M & S) which was then sold to Chamberlain Industries in the late 1990's and recently to Linear in 2005. They are now making Filtex. Our company also grew up in Los Angeles and we used to make parts for each other. Their vacuum inlets, usually metal, say Filtex but it looks a bit like Fietex, Filtrex, Filtrec, Siltrex, or Siltex. The products and parts for Filtex above are compatible with ALL Filtex models, including these models and others not listed:
