Jim Lemmon began manufacturing central vacuums as "Music and Sound". The company was sold in the late 1980's to Music and Sound (aka M & S) in Dallas Texas, then to Chamberlain Industries in the late 1990's and recently to Linear in 2005. They sold under the names "VSI Filtex", "M & S", and M&S so some models may have one or two of these names.
