Wall Inlet Valve Compatibility
The Electric Hose is available in both Direct Connect and Corded and fits all 1-7/16 inch to 1-1/2 inch diameter inlet holes. The 110 volt electrical connection is also very important. Take a moment to determine if in your home the wall vacuum inlets are standard/basic or electric. An electric valve has two holes, 3/8" apart, above or below the main hole. An electrified inlet valve can receive the Direct Connect version of the Electric Hose. If there are not small holes then you have standard/basic wall valves and you will need the Corded version of the Electric Hose for [[brand_name]] Vacuum.

Do you really need an Electric Hose for [[brand_name]] Vacuum?
If the vacuum you use on your carpets has a head light, or an electrical cord, or a two-pin connection at the hose handle then your system requires an electric hose. Do note that there are vacuum heads that spin without electricity. These vacuum heads do not require an electric hose. The vacuum head has an air turbine that spins and drives the beater. It is our opinion that an electric driven head cleans deeper and better than air driven vacuum power heads. If you have a turbine head then purchase a Low Voltage Hose, or Basic/Standard Hose.
Don't forget to pick up a hose sock to protect your baseboards. All central vacuum accessories fit this electric central vacuum hose. Electric Hose Parts
