Q: Does the hose fit MY BRAND, MODEL?
A: This top quality hose is used in many brands and fits many more. The 2% of systems needing to pay attention to the wall port connection are some Vacuflo, Budd, Kenmore, Filtex, and Vacumaid - visit YOUR BRAND for details. The hose does NOT replace a hose that powers a carpet brush with 110 volts, or that has an electrical cord on it. The hose fits Electrolux and Hoover wall valves but not their proprietary-connection accessories. Buy a complete new hose and accessory kit for those systems.
A hose is not tied to a Brand or Model. When a central vacuum system is installed a variety of hoses could have been given along with it. There is no end to the kind of hoses you can have regardless of your brand or model.
All central vacuum owners can reevaluate their needs at anytime and choose hoses, accessories, and complete new kits that are right for their present vacuuming needs regardless of their Brand or Model. In fact, you can downgrade to a Basic Hose or upgrade to an Electric Kit if desired.

Q: Is it an Electric Hose?
A: There is not 110 volts in this hose. The on/off switch is low voltage (and very convenient). The hose will not power an electrified beater nozzle (see Electric Hose compatibility in your brand's hose page for a hose with 110 volts).
Q: Replace a Basic Hose?
A: Wherever a Basic Hose (no switch on handle) is used, a Low Voltage Hose can be used in its place. Even if the on/off doesn't work with your system, it is a better hose because it has a comfortable handle and a swivel to cut down on kinking.
Q: Wands included?
