Most all inlets are universal, meaning they have two screws four inches apart that hold them in place. Budd vacuum inlet ports are all universal. Vacuum inlets come in a variety of colors and shapes and are interchangeable. Replacing inlets is not difficult and the video on the left is a tutorial and shows the most durable style. Take a moment to determine if your inlets are Basic or Electric. Both inlet types have two metal contacts inside the 1-1/2 inch diameter hole, when shorted the suction starts. Electric inlets have these contacts and two small 110 volt connection holes 3/8 inch apart along the top or bottom of the main hole. Screws come with the inlet and are 1-1/2 inches long.

VacuSweep's main difference from VacPan is the pipe connection, instead of being on the top, is on the back. Face measurement is 8.5 x 2.625 inches.
