28 amp Relay (also used for smaller units) Part#242
This relay replaces the smaller ones (#240 and #241) previously sold. It works with large and small transformers, all motors, all minibreakers and 110 to 240 volts. It works with an electrical set-up similar to the ones in the following photographed diagrams. Click and print a diagram for wiring a SINGLE MOTOR VACUUM, or DUAL MOTOR VACUUM under 16 amps, or DUAL MOTOR VACUUM over 16 amps. (When in doubt on amps use the diagram for the larger amps.) Wires are not sold here. Use 14 or 16 gauge wires and put on 1/4 inch flag terminals (all available at hardware stores). Use 12 gauge wire for dual motor setups over 17 amps. To mount it you MUST HAVE 4 x 2.5 inches of space. Do not allow any metal on the relay (besides the bottom) to touch any metal parts on the vacuum except the wires. There are several "feet" on the bottom to use screws (not included) to secure it. #242 Replaces Omron Relays.

Low Voltage Booster Box Part#140LV
Splice this booster into a vacuum's low voltage wiring system, plug it into 110 volts, and your 24 volt line will be boosted with plenty of juice! The two blue wires connect to your power unit low voltage (you can use speaker wire to extent any of the wire here) and the red and yellow (or two red) wires connect to the low voltage leads coming from the install site. Simply hang the box on your wall with a nail into a stud. Be sure to use wire nuts to get good connections when joining the wires together.

Central Vacuum Wireless Remote Control (RF) Part#145
This is the easiest way to bypass damaged low voltage wiring and remotely start the vacuum unit from within the install site. Simply attach remote on the vacuum hose handle and other components near the vacuum power unit. And surprise - your low voltage troubles are over. Range is similar to a vehicle remote lock/unlock key fob - about 150 feet depending on wall thickness and number. A small transmitter plugs into 120v and hangs near the vacuum unit and wire connects to the vacuum unit from it. Use this remote clicker to activate the vacuum on and off - what could be easier?
