Repair vs Replace?

Is it possible to fix this Motor as replacement of the motor of the Cyclovac Diplomat 200 ? Thanks for your answer.

Answer:
Motor parts are available, but not from here - besides the motor brushes. Motors are made to be replaced after their 1000 or so hours. Once the bearing wobbles or the armature is pitted, it is usually time to replace the motor.

AirVac Replacement Circuit Boards

Both motors were good , but one electric shop believed that the Airvac 850 circuit board was simply "opening" after a few minutes of running-they sounded fine. It's a 1989 model. Are there any PC boards available? Andy in Eau Claire, Wis.

Both Motors Turn Off in a Minute?

After aprox one minute both motors shut down on our 850A airvAc. They sound fine while running. Andy,Eau Claire

Answer:
What is probably happening is one motor shuts down and the other is already down. The bad motor looks like it is working because the air spins the fan just like the one that is working. Typically those with this issue replace both motors.

Filtex TSP300L Motor Too Tall?

I have just installed your 116296 motors into my TSP300L filtex vacuum wiring is all done and the modification to the upper seal ring to allow the exhaust to come out unhindered. This looks like it will work, My question is the orginal motor was a inch shorter than this one what will I have to do to make this work as a original installation? I will have to pickup the top lid about a inch. should I insert a spacers between the top lids and the bottom flanges or just lift it to clear the inlet on the top of the motor for ventalation? Will Inclosure be critical to cooling or suction?

Answer:
If you can raise it up that will be fine. The top is there to keep it in place and unreachable. It will not effect the cooling or suction.
