Measure from Handle or Bleeder Ring?

My electric hose came with a CanaVac central power unit. I just measured from the bottom of the airflow-adjustment collar on the nozzle to the center of the spring-loaded button. That measurement is 1-3/8". Does that mean that this item (Mini Wand) will not mate with my nozzle? If so, have you considered having another version of the Mini Wand made that would work with the shorter nozzle dimension?

Answer:
Let's clarify it. Usually the wand will slide past the bleeder ring, that is why the 2" measurement it from the two electric connection holes to the button lock on the metal tube on the hose handle. Take a look at the photo on the left side to see a ruler showing the measurement http://builtinvacuum.com/hoses/electrichoses.html. You need two inches like this for the wand to work with your handle.
