Stretch Hose is a non-electric hose that starts the suction upon insertion into a central vacuum inlet. As it is stretched it expands and when done vacuuming it retracts all the way back to its original side. Stretch Hose fits extension tubes such as Plastic Extension Wands (#406P) or the Telescopic Friction Metal Wand (#406T), which is included in the Quick Clean Kits. The hose fits into 99% of all systems since they have a 1-1/2 inch diameter wall inlet hole. There are adapters for all other types of inlets.
