The Belt
Stealth’s cogged belt is made of durable reinforced rubber, and guaranteed for life. MD will, in the unlikely event that a customer ever breaks a belt, repair or replace the belt under warranty. |
The Bearings
Stealth is unique. Take a look at the bearings, for example.
They are rubber cushioned, sealed ball bearings (not simple bushings) of the highest quality. Translation? Reduced heat build-up, brush noise, dirt damage, and help transmit all the motor's energy directly to the brush for maximum cleaning efficiency. The Chip
That's right, this electric power brush has a computer inside.The chip governs the motor, increasing & decreasing power when needed. If the brush jams, the powerhead instantly shuts down, protecting the Stealth and whatever is caught.
 Has your vacuum ever grabbed the edge of a rug, getting it caught in the brush? Your Stealth will protect and cut power faster then any other brush, saving damage to the rug, belt, motor - and your stress level.
Stealth is the first power brush to offer integrated circuitry.  This protects the motor transmission and belt from overload and also assists the operator in making the most efficient brush-height settings.This integrated chip also monitors the motor condition several times a second for excessive amp load and will instantly shut down the motor, and engage the red light, if certain parameters are exceeded. Other products cannot compete at this level. If your motor goes into protect mode, the brush power is easily reset by simply turning off the switch at your fingertips and then turning the switch back on again. This same integrated circuit also limits the motor RPM, reducing free spin... significantly reducing brush noise.

 The Motor
Designed and built in Italy, this nozzle and electric brush motor give excellent service for many years. MD’s Stealth brush motor with its 5-year warranty, is the best in the industry (5 to 10 times the life of a typical domestic unit). This extended life is based on its superior construction, plus a super heavy-duty commercial application design. The motor has a larger, 24-bar commutator (where the electrical power is transferred between the electrical system and the motor's spinning rotor) which reduces heat buildup and amp usage. Translation? Less wear on the carbon brushes – much more power to the brush.

The Roller Brush
To ensure MD’s commitment to quiet cleaning, the Stealth power brush contains thirteen sound absorbers and rubber insulators. A computer balanced brush reduces sound decibel level even more. The result? Less vibration, longer brush, belt, and bearing life. The roller brush has 360 degree convergent bristles (Chevron style) compared to conventional 180-degree double row design. This Chevron pattern moves dirt towards the center where the suction takes it in. Plus, the bristles on our roller brush are the highest quality, rated to last up to 800 hours - four to six times that of standard brushes. The single row also keeps hair and thread from getting wound up on the brush roll.

The Other Features
For more consistent cleaning, the incredible strong, Lexan base plate shoe features serrated air channels in the front and sides for better air flow. Other features include non-marking tires, swivel neck, a remain-upright wand lock, and multiple height options for tuned in carpet grooming. |
