Synopsis: (Note: 110 volts not needed, only low voltage wire.) In new construction a standard mounting plate is used where the cabinet will be. On the finish, several inches or more of clear plastic tubing is ran from the special inlet valve cover (provided) to the VacnSeal arm looking up into the cabinet through a drilled hole. In an existing home, the VacnSeal is mounted under the cabinet, a hole is drilled into the cabinet, and clear tubing is ran in and then back out of the cabinet and tied in with a "T" connector to the existing central vacuum pipe. If the pipe run is in the basement, the VacnSeal can be mounted to a (pantry) wall and the tubing ran down through the floor into the basement. The RetroKit comes with all the parts and 20ft of clear tubing, 25ft of low voltage wire, and a "T" connector.
