Google search to find replacement carpet accessory for 20-year old Nutone builtin vacuum and found North County Vacuum. First contact by web site email and follow-up calls for service technicians to check the central system too. Bought the Vacu flo DB7000 Vac tank and new Stealth accessory kit. Installation was efficient and now I am very happy with both products.
Although we experienced difficulty with UPS delivering our original order and our replacement order to the wrong address, (the shipping label had the correct address on it), we were very pleased with the response that customer service provided in originally replacing our order and tracking/visiting with UPS.
the service staff was very helpful to me in helping me identify the unit I needed since this was installed by previous owners and there was no paperwork. I found the website via a sticker on the central vacuum in the garage and was able to follow up from there despite the various changes from company mergers. I had to postpone delivery because of travel plans and the representative I spoke to worked that out with me just fine. the only negative aspect is that I think the master unit, now 20 years old, is slowing down.
Very helpful customer service! I sent a picture of my wall inlet and they told me exactly what I would need to make a new hose work. They don't make parts for my Kenmore system anymore but with the adapter, the combo hose I bought works just fine. This site is very informative!
After converting our 2-prong Vacuflo system to the industry standard the new hose we purchased from MD did not shut the unit off and on. Called and after performing checks as instructed, concluded there was a problem with the hose or hose switch, so she will send a RA for exchange. I then tested the hose before boxing it up and saw that indeed there was a problem with continuity. Hopefully the new hose will take care of the problem!

ACE ELECTRIC BRUSH - purchase was simple and it arrived quickly. This vacuum head works great. Much better then our original Hayden head.
Had an issue with a wand being hard to disconnect. Customer service sent us a new one. Very helpful and polite.

I can't say enough about how great this company is to work with. Their customer service is second to none, and have always helped me with anything I've ever needed to make repairs or purchase new items for my central vac. When I need a new unit I'll definitely be buying an MD unit!
Very impressed with the logical approach to problem-solving and the clarity of guide-notes. I had a bee hive cause the ceiling of our plant room collapse directly over the top of the VL300 vacuum unit last night - lots of honeycomb and honey (but no bees!), so I expect our vacuum is continuously running due to a short. Soon to find out for sure. Sweet!
I had to put a turn of duct tape around the tube that goes into the pipe in the wall to make it fit sung.
