This is an animal hospital so the rollers get full of pet hair. I don't think there is anything that can be done about that and not normal wear and tear. This is our second one we've purchased. We vacuum 6,000 sq. ft. twice daily. Has worked well and hard. My only complaint would be after using it for so long a time, it is very difficult to remove to replace. I have to split it with a Drumel bit. I think dirt gets in between the head and the handle. .
