Replace Rubber O-Ring?

i have an old nutone model 350 using motor #115334. it looks like it has a rubber o ring gasket but the material is cracked. do you sell a relpacement or does the new motor come supplied with an adequate gasket?

As far as we know you'll need to replace the rubber o-ring gasket with this one. Unless the gasket was quite tall to keep the motor up high, the idea is to have something dense between the motor and motor plate pressed down to nearly nothing.

Old Model Need Gasket?

We are ordering a new motor and hose from you for our 18 year old Beam Model 287S. Should we buy a new gasket?

Hi, there are some vacuums that have a unique gasket for the motor. You'd be able to tell because you can see it from the side of the motor and it would come to the edge of the motor. It would be over 1/4" thick. If you have a unique one then use it by all means. If you can't see any gasket then buy this one, it will provide a small pad for the motor to sit on.

Gasket for Old Nutone

I have a Nu tone that was installed in 1981 and have rebuilt the motor once about 7 years ago. The gasket that I now have is a ring gasket (not flat) but has cracked and broken. is this the right gasket for my unit? Doug, Santa Barbara, CA

Sorry, we are not familiar with a metal gasket but typically there is some material the motor sits on. Some vacuums had more functional gaskets that had to be used for the motor to seat correctly.
