Hose Sock that Repels Pet Hair

I have a dog and dog hair clings to gray hose cover (due to static). The hose leaves behind dog hair on dark hard wood floors. Is there a cover that repels the dog hair or at least washable? Rena San Diego

Answer:
The padded zippered hose sock is the best when dealing with pet hair. It is made of the slickest material, like a sleeping bag, and repels pet hair the most. https://builtinvacuum.com/hoses.html#hosesocks

Will Not Turn On

My Cyclo Vac E100 won't turn on at all. I have checked it for working at different outlets without any success. I have also checked our house circuit breaker a few times turning it off and then back on. Still, nothing happens. I went to the side of the vacuum unit and tried to reset the unit circuit breaker but there was only this black knob that said "fuse" on it. I could not do anything to reset it. In the past, the hose had been troublesome where 1/4 twists at the head would restart the suction. Now nothing is happening. My name is Vicki and I am from Vancouver. Thanks for your help.

Answer:
Did you go through this guide to find the issue? www.builtinvacuum.com/flowchrt.html. It sounds like a bad motor but this guide will help you figure it out.

Low Suction

Our vacuum has some suction, but not much. Is it clogged? I don't recall sucking anything up that would clog it.

Answer:
There could be a clog in the system, or a motor dying. Follow our troubleshooting guide to narrow down the issue https://builtinvacuum.com/education/troubleshoot.html

Cyclovac E103 No Suction

My cyclovac E103 has no suction. I was told by the people that had it installed that it often gets blocked. Can you please tell me how to unblock it. Thank you

Answer:
If there is no suction at the inlets in the home, but you can hear the motors running, then there is a clog in the pipes. You will need to contact a serviceman to come and clear the line.
