Fasco Master Vac Replacement?

We currently own a Master Vac II by Fasco central vac system. We have owned this system for approximately 20 years. We have been very happy with it thus far, however, I do need a new beater bar for doing my carpets. I don't feel that my current beater brush is picking up all the dirt that it should. We also own a long hair dog, so I do have to vacuum quite frequently. My question is this..is the stealth power brush compatible with my system, and if so, what parts do you recommend I should purchase, and what size? Thank you in advance for your help. Sincerely, Cindy Lange

Answer:
Yes, the MasterVac will provide many years of service and if you need new motors we have them and they are quite simple to replace. You can buy the Stealth head alone IF your old beater bar had a 40 inch cord coming out of it that terminated in a plug with two small pins, not slats, otherwise you will need the entire https://builtinvacuum.com/stealth-kit/index.html

Fasco Vacuum Replacement?

I have a Fasco system, model 862EB, both the hose and Electric Brush need to be replaced, which is the best way to go? Kerstin, Locust Grove

Answer:
Hello Kerstin, the absolute best way to go for cleanliness and durability is the Stealth Attachment Kit. It fits right into your wall inlets. Be sure to get the "corded" version. www.builtinvacuum.com/stealth-kit/. We also have other electric kits that fit right in and cost less money.

Filtex Vacuum Replacement - Old System?

I have a VSI Filtrex central vacuum. It is about 30 years old and rarely used becuase the carpet head is extremely hard to push and does not pick up much. My wall inlets appear to have 2 connections at the top. Will the stealth work with my system? Or will anything work? Thanks.

Answer:
Yes, it will work and you will be amazed at the results - guaranteed. Be sure to buy a "corded" Stealth Kit. For Filtex systems with the pop out button and not having two small contacts inside the inlet hole you will need to push this part on to the hose end of the Stealth Hose https://builtinvacuum.com/retail/shopretail.php?part_no=302CT. Or you can change the inlets to modern ones https://builtinvacuum.com/filtexvideo/index.html.

The Steatlth Kit comes with carpet grooming (Stealth) brush and separate hard floor brush with extra wands. You should use them for their intended application. If you don't have the hard floor brush and wands order #402WX or #402D and #406TB.

Hayden Hose Compatible?

I HAVE A Hayden super pack VACUUM KIT p/n 418g (pig tail). I have had it for over 7 years and thinking of upgrading. Will the Stealth Vacuum attach to my hose or will I need to buy a complete new Kit with hose and all? Also is the stealth hose the same as super pack ? Just want to make sure it will connect and work with existing wall connections. Pete Pleasant Prairie, WI

Answer:
Hello Pete, the complete Stealth Attachment kit fits right into your existing vacuum system and wall ports. The Stealth head by itself will fit the Hayden hose if TWO of these wands are also bought https://builtinvacuum.com/retail/shopretail.php?part_no=406SL. The Hayden wands you have will not work. The cord from the Stealth brush will have to be plugged into the hose handle manually each time. The set up will work fine and save you money. When you are ready to purchase a new hose for it buy the Electric Hose on the website and a new wand #406ST.

Hayden SuperHose Compatible?

Hide-A-Hose

We have the Vacuflo hide-a-hose system. It's a great product but the TurboCat Zoom is a little light in performance as it relates to cat hair. Do you have a Stealth that fits the bill if we want to move to an electric powerhead ?? Thanks, Chuck

Answer:
With a Hide-A-Hose system, there is no electrical supply that can power any electric brush. Each system is air only, so the only option for carpet brushes are the air-powered ones such as the Turbocats. You do have the option of having a dealer install a standard or electric inlet in the areas where an electric brush is needed. This would allow you to have a Stealth brush for the deep cleaning and still use your Hide-A-Hose for convenient daily clean-ups.

Hoover Central Vac Compatible?

Hello, I have a Hoover model S5673 built-in with the S5703 accessory kit. Will your replacement 14" head and pipe fit the existing hose connection? It has a 2 prong cord and the metal tube has a small pin that allows it to lock to the handle. The power handle allows for just suction and suction and brush rotation. Thanks Joe Detroit

Answer:
Hi, the Stealth nozzle will NOT fit this configuration, only the same Hoover nozzle that broke. You do have the option of buying a complete Stealth or other kit though. They all fit directly into your system.

Hoover System - Need the Best

I have a Hoover Central Vacuum System model #S-5673. My carpeting never get clean. What is your best suggestion?

Answer:
The Stealth Kit is the best available, honestly. The unending high ratings come in every day from real customers. The Stealth fits right into your (any) central vacuum system. You will probably need the "corded" kit because you most likely don't have "110 volt" written on your inlets somewhere. A "corded" kit comes with a lightweight hose (that is going to have 27% more suction than older hoses) with an 8-foot pigtail electric cord you plug into a nearby electrical wall outlet. Wires are hidden in the hose - you don't lug around a hose and cord. Stealth comes a complete 30-day money back satisfaction guarantee. You need to buy a complete Stealth Kit here https://builtinvacuum.com/help/hoover.html.

Hoover Upgrade?

I am looking for a new power brush for my 5 year old Hoover central vacuum system (low voltage, 1 step connection). Will the Stealth Power Brush work with my system? Nadine Commerce Twp, MI

Answer:
Hi, usually the nozzle will not replace a Hoover Nozzle. That doesn't mean it can't but there are some that didn't have a neck like the Stealth, or a neck at all for that matter. But if your metal tubes can slide into the Stealth neck and have a metal button lock that pops out into a visible hole on the side of the Stealth neck then it may work. Also, the complete Stealth Kit WILL WORK with your system and wall inlets without any modifications. If you upgrade to an entire kit you get the freedom of using any new accessories you want because the hose is industry standard.

Kenmore Built-in Vacuum Compatible?

I have a 20+ year old Kenmore built-in Vacuum Cleaner, Model #116.4053180. Will the Stealth hose fit into my wall outlet? As soon as I lift the wall outlet cover, there is suction even before I insert the hose. Thanks, Jan in Morton.

Answer:
Hello Jan, yes the Stealth will fit and will work incredibly well with your Kenmore System....we guarantee it. Hope you have seen the customer testimonials! The Stealth Kit for your wall inlets where the suction starts when the lid is opened is the kit for 1.25 inch inlets on this page https://builtinvacuum.com/help/kenmore.html. All you need to decide is if you want a 30 or 35 foot hose in the kit, and if you want to spend the extra money for Stealth II which has the easy to use hose connection and foot release from the Stealth itself (great for quickly disconnecting the Stealth and using the wands to clean closer to baseboards or spots the Stealth will not fit into (the Stealth is a generous 14 inches wide).

Kenmore Sears Upgrade

I have a Kenmore built in central vac system with cyclone seperation model #116.40523. I need a new hose and would also like the stealth power brush. Can this be done?

Answer:
Excellent choice. You save a lot of money buying the kit over the head/hose/wands individually. All you have to do now is determine the diameter opening in the wall valve by whether the suction starts before you put the hose in or measuring the diameter. Then determine if you want a 30ft or 35ft hose. The hose will have an 8ft extension cord on the wall end that plugs into a regular electrical outlet. The wires are then hidden in the hose for 30-35ft. Start right here to pick the Stealth Kit that you need https://builtinvacuum.com/help/kenmore.html#electrickits.

M&S CT12DXL Vacuum Replacement?

I have M&S model CT12DXL. It was installed when we built our house 7 years ago. It never picked up well on carpet and we had to buy a portable vacumn. I would like to replace my current head a I don't want to have to buy another vacumn cleaner. I have a dog and cat and lots of hair and am wondering if the Stealth would work well on carpet with pets and will my system be compatable? Thanks

Miele S5580 Aquarius SEB 236 Nozzle Replacement?

Can this be used as a replacement for the Miele SEB 236 power head with the Miele S5580 Aquarius? Do I need to buy any other parts to fit it into the Aquarius? Thanks so much for your help!!

Answer:
Hi, if your wands are 1-1/8 to 1-1/4 inches in diameter with a metal nipple on the end and the cord terminates in two prongs about 3/8 inches apart then yes! Wow, what a superb upgrade that would be. Please let us know if it sounds like it will work. Thank you.

Nutone - Old - Replacement Vacuum and Hose?

I have a 23 year old Nutone 353 that runs great but I need replacement hose and rug vac. Also wondered if any of the new power brushes would go with this old die hard unit. Thanks Carol Ocala Fl

Answer:
Hello Carol, the Stealth is a fantastic choice and fits right into your system. If your old electric hose is any good it will fit but we really recommend a whole new Stealth Kit. A new hose will give you an immediate 27% more suction. Your home will be cleaner. Be sure to buy one with the "8ft cord" and if the hose is tight going into the wall port you can easily remove a bit of hard plastic on the hose end. Choose your Stealth Kit here: www.builtinvacuum.com/stealth-kit/

Nutone 398 Vacuum Replacement?

i have a NuTone model #398 household type 818. Will the stealth work with this NuTone whole house vac system.

The complete electric kits we sell also fit right into your system. So do the electric hoses if you need one down the road.

Nutone CT600 Replacement Brush

I have a nut one ct600 power head, tube and hose. Will the 12 inch stealth replace it directly or will I need to purchase different tube/wand and hose?

The wand that matches the Stealth comes with the brush. Your current hose will connect just fine.

Nutone Power Head Replacement?

We have a Nutone Central Vacuum CV-450 system which is 15 years old and I've not been able to locate a new #598 Power Head we need. The cord for connecting to the hose has two small prongs or pins. Will the Stealth Power Head brush fit our Nutone hose and work nicely? We need some replacement bags for the Nutone Central Vac CV-450. Can you include them with the Stealth Power Head Brush? How much will the bags,(if available) the new Power Head brush, and any shipping charges be? I'll welcome advice. Thank you. Aureljean Erdmann N7420 Burr Oak Road Whitewater, WI 531

Answer:
The Eureka/Beam power head is a very good replacement. It will work if the 2-pin cord you have now is manually plugged into the hose handle AFTER you put the handle into the metal tubes (which is normal for older Nutone systems). The Eureka electric cord will do the same thing. Also, we do have the bags. Here are the items together in this link. They are in stock and there is no tax except in CA. https://builtinvacuum.com/retail/shopretail.php?part_no=723,482

Nutone Replacement - Cord End

I have read here that you recommend the Steath brush to replace the Nutone model 398 or 398ND powerhead. I see that in the photos above the connector pin has a somewhat different shape. The one I have (on the "pigtail" cord end that plugs into the hose), and of course its receptacle, is rectangular, while the Stealth's is beveled on one side. This doesn't appear to be compatable. Is there now only one cord from the Stealth unit that terminates with the 2 pins, eliminating the need for the pigtail cord? Thanks very much for your help and advise. Joan from NJ

Answer:
Hello Joan, government regulations now require the beveled edge on all central vacuum cords (so it is always inserted the same way). We have found that it fits fine and works extremely well as a Nutone replacement when there is a rectangle shape.

Nutone Stealth Compatibility

I have a Nutone CH620 hose will the Stealth work with this hose or do I need a replacement?

Answer:
The cord on the Stealth brush is a standard 2-pin connection and will fit your Nutone system.
