installed the new motor and have very little suction, which was great before the new motor was installed. Called cust service which was no help either. suggested service call
(MD Notes: Service calls are recommended when troubleshooting options over the phone are inconclusive. When this occurs, it is recommended to have a technician come to examine the system within the home to identify the cause of the issue.)
I work for an electric motor company. I thought that the price charged was probably about 10x the cost to produce, so a bit excessive.
(MD NOTES: Wow, that would be robbery! The price is no where near that mark-up. In fact, one central vacuum factory was selling this same replacement motor for over $300 when it was online at mssystems.com!)
