The replacement slipped right back in to replace the original motor.

I had one of two motors quit on me, so I prudently replaced both due to their age (1o yrs Minimum). My Silent Master 5 is like new !!!! Plenty of power, lots of suction. Easy replacement.
Works great, fits great, very quiet.
All products were fine. It would be beneficial to anyone who orders a motor for the salesperson to mention that ordering a new gasket is usually necessary. I salvaged the old ones for two motors, but using new gaskets would have made life easier.
