I am very disappointed in my new vacuum head, as it stopped working the first time I used it, trying to vacuum up a 1/16" bit of gravel. We had to take the head apart to find the problem, and have had a terrible time getting it back together again. If we tighten all the screws down the way they should be, the round plastic part (that spins around to pick up the dirt) will not move. Right now it is totally useless - after just one use! I have been using the built-in vacuum system for 24 years now, and have never had a problem like this before with the other heads I have had.
(MD Notes: We reached out to the customer with a couple of options to help resolve. We also advised against vacuuming up gravel with a turbine driven power head as it can permanently damage the turbine and other internal components.)

I have now used this little accessory half a dozen times, and it is great! I like it even better than the one it replaced. It's shorter length is no problem, and the changing of the rug to floor application is easier than ever. A real improvement!
We are delighted with the Basic Vacuum Hose. I was able to unscrew the wall adaptor from the new Basic Hose and, with no trouble, screwed the wall adaptor from our 37 year old WalVac hose into the new Basic Hose.
I give it a 5 star rating
The turbocat zoom does not work well at all -- it does not pick up virtually anything on the carpet. Even on a very low carpet. The old attachment that we had worked wonders better than this one, but unfortunately broke. Too bad. I was very disappointed with this product and would not recommend it to anyone. (MD NOTES: We recommend an electric kit such as EdgeLift or Stealth. Both fit into all existing systems - guaranteed. The hose is put into the vacuum port and a cord sticks out the hose end that plugs into a nearby electrical outlet. The way they clean will not disappoint whatsoever.)
