The door shown in the photo is not the style I purchased. I got the full door unit. I needed them because the hose end was rotating in the inlet hole which caused the vacuum to stay on even with the switch off. The new units have a small anti rotation protrusion which is supposed to stop rotation. Unfortunately, it is so small that it does not function that well. It should protrude further off the face and be thicker or reinforced to prevent deforming. I suggest the rib be thickened and have support ribs at right angles to the top and bottom. This would form a U shape rather then the present I. It would be a simple change to the Die and require only a small amount of material per shot. Regards.

Worked well could have been made a little heaver.
We replaced old (1970) inlets. Both old and new were low voltage. After installing the new, everytime we turned on the vacuum in the garage all 4 inlets were on and running. We spent alot of time troubleshooting the system, had the relay checked, etc. Turns out, as soon as we plugged the hose into one outlet and turned it on and off at the handle, the system shut off and on correctly. Wish we would have known.
Great price, good looking outlets. Function fine however, advertised for Beam system that we have. I wanted to replace all outlets as they were getting worn out and my wife had trouble getting the vacuum on with worn out contacts in the existing outlets. After installing these, we noticed the vacuum hose slips in with barely any "grab" and the hose can turn in the outlet causing the power to stay on when switching off at the head. Other than that feature, they are working fine.
Looks great but is not as tight as the old covers.
The product is fine. It does what it supposed to do.
Service was good. Item arrived quickly.
