Should have bought this to begin with. Two local vacuum shops insisted that can't be it. Replaced outlet unnecessarily, wasted time going back and forth, and in the end, the MD diagnostic aid that suggested it is likely the cause of the problem was correct. Simple, inexpensive, and IT WORKS.
This little item saved my hose from being useless. Be careful when ordering since if you need the small adapters to attach to your wires they do not come with this item, Only if you buy the cuff and this item. Customer service got me the needed parts. They are very good to work with.
