Works great! Prompt delivery
Wish I would have thought about replacing the brush in the Stealth a long time ago. We thought the vacuum itself was loosing power and started using a corded upright we had. After installing the new brush it's like our central vacuum is as good as new. And replacing the old with the new was easy as could be and just took a few minutes.
Our old brush was 9-years old so it was definitely time for a new one. The new brush works great (what a difference new bristles make) and very easy to install.
if you want this part to last, make sure you clean hair that gets caught at the ends of the roller brush(where it sits in the aluminum). otherwise it eventually will wear and melt the plastic causing the roller to shake and not spin correctly.
Instructions and helpful hints could have helped
I am NOT pleased with the Stealth Roller Brush. The bearing area on the opposite side of the brush belt will pick-up pet hairs (dog) and require disassembly to remove the hair. The brush is made of a plastic composite and our brush got so hot that it melting the end and I had dog hair embedded in the brush plastic. I had to scrape the roller end until it had the proper clearance to turn freely. This end of the roller should have some type of protection to prevent the hair from gaining access between the bearing and roller end. This is a NEW unit with less than 10 hours of use. (MD NOTES: BRUSH WAS EXCHANGED UNDER WARRANTY, RARE ISSUE.)
